I thought I couldn't live without my smartphone.
But I had lived quite a while without one.
I had lived from 7/23/70 to 6/29/07 without one.
That's 36 years, 11 months and 6 days.
Or 13,490 days without a smartphone.
I got through school without one.
I became a doctor without one.
I got married without one.
All without smartphone use.
All without smartphone dependency.
All without psychological reliance on these devices.
All without constantly needing to be connected with my smartphone.
So I did an experiment.
I was my own guinea pig.
No smartphone for a week.
It was awesome.
More presence.
More connection.
Less me.
More we.
