I asked my dad a question.
"What do you love the most about being a doctor?"
He answered.
"The ability to make a positive difference in someone's life."
That's huge.
There's so many ways to make a positive difference.
There's listening.
Having someone feel really listened to.
There's observing.
Having someone feel really cared for.
There's verbalizing.
Having someone feel communicated to from a heart-centered place.
There's empathizing.
Having someone feel that you've been in their shoes.
There's loving.
Having someone really feel your shared humanity.
The ability to make a positive difference in someone's life.
You've made one in my life.
Thanks, Dad.
