But crashing early has never come easy.

My kid stays up later than me when I get in bed at 9 pm.

How embarrasing to be tucked in by my 14 year old.

I need a 'go the eff to bed' to do list.

Turn off phone.

Hot shower.

Restorative yoga.

Hang upside down.

Meditate.

Read.

Write one thing I'm grateful for.

Write down what I'm worried about.

Stop that last one after ten pages.

If only...

Ah, the fantasy of early morning workouts.

Morning pages.

Stretching before leaving the bed.

Is my Night Fever just the way things are?

Or does going to bed a lil bit earlier each night eventually get me there?

I'll never know.
