Ninety Seconds

“Nice Vail hat.”

”Thanks, only certain hats fit my head.”

”Yeah, me too.”

That was it.

Nothing else.

Ninety seconds.

In each other’s presence.

A conversation with a stranger.

In an elevator.

A hat compliment.

A piece of personal information about challenging hat sizing.

Nothing else.

I will likely never say anything to that guy again.

That unique amazing human being.

We shared an elevator.

Ninety seconds.

That’s it.

Nothing more.

Is that all there is?

I think so.
