Get It Done

When I was in my 20s I recorded an album.

Fifteen songs.

All originals.

I thought it would be the template of my masterpiece.

And now that I’m 47, I'm working on the masterpiece.

I've only finished one song so far.

Here it is.

One act of eleven.

One song is glory.

Eleven will be a miracle.

A miracle because I do a lot.

I write a daily blog, I podcast, I run an oncology practice, I do stand-up comedy.

No woulda-coulda-shouldas.

Get it done.

Regret is a loss to me.

To do is a win to me.

To do when I'm tired or stressed.

To do when I least feel like it.

To do when it's not the best.

To do when I feel off.

To do it anyway.

To do it to get it done.

To do it in the face of every excuse not to do it.

Get it done.
