Compassion or Nothing

Compassion.

The other “C” word.

My two cents:

Compassion or nothing.

Compassion.

It’s the most important part of being a doctor.

Of being any healthcare provider.

Compassion or nothing.

Full on empathy.

The word “doctor” is the agentive noun of the Latin verb docere (do-ke-re) which means “to teach”.

What if we could teach the world a little compassion?

That’d be a fine day in my book.

I think the word also means D-O-C-T-O-R:

Displaying.

Outstanding.

Compassion.

Transforms.

Our.

Relationships.

Compassion or nothing.

Microstep: Compassion can be taught. By you. Today. Teach it by being compassionate to someone today. They’ll get the lesson.
